Dr. Zeynab Malakouti is a Research Affiliate at the Middle East Institute, National University of Singapore (NUS), and a Senior Fellow at the Global Peace Institute, UK. She holds a PhD in International Law from the University of Leeds, UK, and an LLM in Human Rights Law from the University of Reading, UK. Previously, she served as an Assistant Professor and Director of the Human Rights Department at the Research Center and UNESCO Chair for Human Rights, Peace, and Democracy. Dr. Malakouti is the author of a book on Counter-Terrorism Financing and Iran and has published several articles in leading academic journals.
