SUFIP Development Network

Our Mission

A joint collaboration between the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), the Sustainable Finance in the Indo-Pacific Development Network (SUFIP DN) seeks to foster cooperation and exchange of knowledge aimed at strengthening collaboration and responses to developmental challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.

The SUFIP DN initiative originated from the Sustainable Finance in the Indo-Pacific (SUFIP) conference, which took place in February 2022, prior to the EU ministerial Forum for Cooperation in the Indo-Pacific. This gathering brought together various public development banks (PDBs) and development financing institutions (DFIs) across Europe and the Indo-Pacific.

The SUFIP DN is a continuation of this conference to create, connect, and build a pool of experts to enhance research in this domain.
