Talal Rafi is an Economist and an Expert Member of the World Economic Forum. He is a regular columnist for the International Monetary Fund and he was a member of the Deloitte Global Economist Network. He serves on the Board of Sri Lanka’s premier government foreign policy think tank, Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute and he is a Fellow at the British think tank, Oxford Global Society. He also serves on the Board of one of Sri Lanka’s largest asset management firms as an Independent Non Executive Director. He is a Visiting Lecturer at the Centre for Banking Studies, Central Bank of Sri Lanka. His work has been published by the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Asian Development Bank, World Economic Forum, Chatham House London, London School of Economics, UNFCCC and Forbes.
