Evan A. Laksmana is Senior Research Fellow at the Centre on Asia and Globalisation at the National University of Singapores Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. He was previously a senior researcher at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies in Jakarta Indonesia. His research has appeared in various publications including the Journal of Contemporary Asia Asian Security Defense and Security Analysis Asia Policy Asian Politics &: Policy and Contemporary Southeast Asia. He earned his PhD in Political Science from Syracuse Universitys Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs as a Fulbright Presidential Scholar.
