CyFy is a premier international forum dedicated to advancing critical dialogue at the intersection of technology, society, and governance. Across its multiple editions, held annually from 2016 to 2022, CyFy brought together thought leaders, policymakers, technologists, and civil society to rigorously examine the political, ethical, and strategic dimensions shaping the digital world.
Recognising that technology was never truly neutral, CyFy explored how political and ethical frameworks influenced the development, control, and use of emerging digital technologies globally. Each edition addressed urgent topics such as digital sovereignty, data governance, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, supply chain resilience, and the socio-political impacts of technological change—including the evolving narratives surrounding technology in conflict and peacebuilding contexts.
Through diverse formats—including panels, workshops, and foresight sessions—the conference fostered robust debate and collaborative efforts aimed at shaping forward-looking policy responses and normative standards in a rapidly changing digital landscape.
