Following a period of lukewarm relations, India and the US have in recent years re-discovered their mutual interest in deeper cooperation. This paper analyses the two nations’ defence ties, and argues that the strategic interests of both lie at the intersection of a military-strong India, and a stable and multipolar Indo-Pacific.
