Snigdha Ranjan, driven by a passion for public health, sustainability and climate change, is set on a
journey to research the interplay between food, nutrition, health and climate change. She is an
independent nutrition consultant working with global Nonprofit organisations on various research
projects revolving around food systems and public health which has helped build research capacity.
She has interned with various government and Nonprofit organisations including National Institute
of Public Cooperation and Child Development (2022) and Food Future Foundation. At FFF she is also
a part of their inaugural cohort of The Indian Food Systems Fellowship (2023). She earned her
Master’s in Food and Nutrition from the University of Delhi in 2023 with her main research focus on
diet diversity among adolescents in India. Beyond academia, educating the masses about the
importance of food and nutrition is part of her mission towards contributing to make the world a
healthier place. This lead to the birth of Poshanly (2021 to present) on online social media platforms
(Instagram and LinkedIn) to encourage positive health behaviour change through nutrition
education. These experiences continue to be useful throughout her nutrition journey and her
commitment to contribute meaningfully to the nexus of nutrition, health, and sustainability.
