Karun Sagar is currently an Editorial Assistant at ORF. His responsibilities include editing long-form pieces, proofreading, correcting citations, and finding images for briefs. He also has contributed to ORF as a writer/screenwriter and has helped organize events including the 2022 Raisina Dialogue.
Karun graduated with a B.A from Sarah Lawrence College where he mainly studied music, writing, theatre, and film.
Sagar has published prose for the Indian Express and the Daily Mail, published articles on Chasing-A-Cup, and has published a piece on political polarization for ORF. He also wrote and directed a mime play called “Baby Nature” with the Jagran Theatre Group and contributes as a editor, musician, and writer to Trunkterra; a group-sourced youtube multi-verse. He has recently started working on content related to environmental preservation, sustainability, and international relations. His main interest remains storytelling.
