Upasana Sharma is a gender and policy strategist with a decade of experience across philanthropy, research, and advisory. She has worked with global institutions like Carnegie, Albright Stonebridge Group, and Vedica. She is the founder of Zubaan, a feminist research and strategy collective.
At Vedica, she played a key role in shaping external relations and strategy, contributing to donor engagement, multi-year fundraising, and the launch of various strategic initiatives. At Carnegie India, she shaped the Global Technology Summit, convening leaders on AI, DPI, and tech policy in partnership with the Government of India. At ASG, she advised global philanthropies and Fortune 500 companies on women’s leadership, digital policy, and South Asia strategy.
She also runs Zubaan, a bi-weekly newsletter on gender and public policy in South Asia, read by researchers, policymakers, and journalists.
