Priyadarshini Baruah

Priyadarshini Baruah is a Research Associate at the Centre for Aerospace Power and Strategic Studies (CAPSS), New Delhi. At CAPSS, she is working on a fellowship project titled ‘New Media and Terrorism’. She holds a Master’s Degree in Geopolitics and International Relations from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Karnataka. She was selected as a Fellow at the Takshashila Institution’s Network for Advanced Study of Pakistan (NASP) for the 2024–2025 cohort, a program designed to deepen the understanding of Pakistan’s security dynamics. Priyadarshini has published articles on various topics related to Islamist terrorism and radicalism in South Asia in professional journals, edited volumes and reputed news platforms. She regularly engages with think tanks across India and is frequently invited by institutions to deliver lectures and present her research findings.
