Paresh Rawal was a consultant with Observer Research Foundation, Mumbai. His current research includes domestic policies on transportation, mobility and logistics. He is working on improving freight quotient of Indian Railways in India’s logistics market.
2nd and subsequent paragraphs Paresh tracks practical and implementable solutions in mass mobility — in context to urbanisation. He has prepared a ‘Saral Timetable’ which provides zero-cost solution to overcrowding in Mumbai.
Paresh has made policy recommendations with passenger fare structures in order to improve the financial health of the Indian Railways. He is simultaneously setting up a library system at ORF Mumbai based on Dewey Decimal Classification System.
