Mlissa Levaillant
Mlissa Levaillant is currently deputy director of studies and research at the French Institute of High Defence Studies attached to the Prime Ministers Office. She is an academic advisor for the training course on maritime issues. Prior to that she was a policy officer on South Asia at the Directorate General of International Relations and Strategy of the Ministry of Armed Forces. Between November 2019 and April 2020 she was seconded by the ministry to the Rajaratnam School of International Studies in Singapore.She holds a Ph. D. in international relations from Sciences Po Paris. Her thesis was on the sociology of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs since 1947. Her current research interests focus on security issues in the Indo-Pacific and Indian foreign and defense policy. She also did a Master of War Studies at King's College London.
