Mr Jaimal Anand works for South Africas Department of International Relations and Co-Operation (DIRCO) since 2005. He is attached to the Office of the Deputy Director General Asia and the Middle East and is responsible for Research and Analysis. His areas of professional focus are on the Geostrategic and Geopolitical developments in the 21st Century. Mr Anand has also served at the South African Embassy in Bern Switzerland between 2006 and 2010 he has held a variety of regional portfolios during his diplomatic career and he has also participated and attended a large number of international conferences and meetings. Mr Anand has written extensively on key strategic and policy issues.
