Air Vice Marshal (Dr) Arjun Subramaniam (Retd) is a fighter pilot from the Indian Air Force, a military historian, air power analyst, and strategic commentator. He is currently a Visiting Professor at Ashoka University and Jindal University. He has previously served as a Visiting Professor at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and as a Visiting Fellow at the Harvard Asia Centre and the Changing Character of War Programme, University of Oxford. He is the author of India's Wars: A Military History, 1947–1971, and writes extensively in the public domain.
