Reports To: Vice President and Head, ORF Mumbai
Expertise: Banking sector
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Identify, write, and comment on banking regulations, impact of banking products and services, financial inclusion, consumer protection, and digital finance
- Lead and manage research work, projects and dialogues, including planning, budgeting, and coordination responsibilities
- Build a network of industry stakeholders, engage with partners and stakeholders in these areas.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of the Indian banking ecosystem
- Postgraduate or equivalent degree, preferably in finance, economics, or a related field
- 5-12 years of work experience in the sector
- Good publication record, spanning analytical articles, research outputs, and project reports
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong relationship skills and team ethic.
