Reports To: Director, Centre for Economy and Growth
Expertise: Trade Policy, Free Trade Agreements, Global Value Chains, Services Trade, New Trade Issues
Responsibilities & Expectations:
● Conduct in-depth research and publish on:
● Issues related to International Trade, Supply Chain Resilience, New trade issues
● Logistics and trade infrastructure, customs rules, trade facilitation
● Issues related to green trade, new tariffs
● Manage projects and dialogues, including planning, budgeting, and coordination responsibilities
● Build a network of sector stakeholders, engage with partners and stakeholders in these areas to support ORF convenings and outreach.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
● In-depth knowledge of Trade Policy
● Post-graduate or equivalent degree in Economics, Political Economy, or a similar field
● 4-8 years of work experience
● Good publication record, spanning analytical articles, research outputs, and project reports
● Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
● Strong relationship skills and team ethic
