Reports To: Director, Centre for Economy and Growth

Expertise: Trade Policy, Free Trade Agreements, Global Value Chains, Services Trade, New Trade Issues

Responsibilities & Expectations:

        Conduct in-depth research and publish on:

       Issues related to International Trade, Supply Chain Resilience, New trade issues

       Logistics and trade infrastructure, customs rules, trade facilitation

       Issues related to green trade, new tariffs

        Manage projects and dialogues, including planning, budgeting, and coordination responsibilities

        Build a network of sector stakeholders, engage with partners and stakeholders in these areas to support ORF convenings and outreach.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

        In-depth knowledge of Trade Policy

        Post-graduate or equivalent degree in Economics, Political Economy,  or a similar field

        4-8 years of work experience

        Good publication record, spanning analytical articles, research outputs, and project reports

        Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

        Strong written and verbal communication skills

        Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative

        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

        Strong relationship skills and team ethic
