India-Ireland Relations | Joe Hackett, Secretary General, Department of Foreign Affairs, Ireland

Observer Research Foundation recently hosted Mr. Joe Hackett, Secretary General (Foreign Secretary), Department of Foreign Affairs, Ireland. The event was focused on the broad contours of Irish foreign policy including the ongoing question of Irish neutrality as well as priority areas in the India-Ireland bilateral relations. The Secretary-General has also used the occasion to launch the Hindi version of Ireland’s new Asia-Pacific Strategy which prioritises Irish engagement with India.

The session was moderated by Prof. Harsh V. Pant, Vice President, Studies and Foreign Policy, ORF followed by an open house for interventions and questions from the audience.
