With the rise of the Global South, the prevailing paradigm of globalization is increasingly being challenged. The next period of the global economy – a rebalanced globalization – will require leadership from countries of the Global South to refocus on pressing developmental challenges facing the world today. This volume explores key objectives of a rebalanced globalization - growth and employment, trade and supply chains, and energy transition - and instruments to achieve them, including reform of global institutions, sustainable financing and inclusive digitalization, from the perspective of the Global South.
