Kashmir at Cross-roads

A talk by M K Narayanan

The troubled border State of Jammu and Kashmir has continued to be in the news all over again, for two years now, and for all wrong reasons. Apart from militancy of the locals and terrorism from across the border in Pakistan, the government’s handling of political and security aspects of emerging situation is being looked at with enthusiasm and concern at the same time.

It is also one of the core issues that have an impact on nation’s domestic polity and foreign and security policy at the same time.

Mr M K Narayanan, IPS (retd) is a former National Security Advisor (NSA), Government of India, and was Director, Intelligence Bureau (DIB) earlier. He later went on to become Governor, West Bengal. The timing of this event is from 11:00 am to 1 pm IST at ORF Chennai.
