Indian Foreign Policy After 11th September 2001

To discuss the impact and implications of the 9/11 attacks on the United States for Indian Foreign Policy, Observer Research Foundation (ORF) organized a focus group meeting titled, “Revisiting India’s Foreign Policy after 11th September 2001”. The group agreed that foreign policy cannot be conducted on an ad-hoc basis with a crisis management approach. Such issues and arguments were compiled in a volume published by ORF, which is a verbatim account of the points debated by the focus group and participants such as Prem Shankar Jha, A N Ram, Prof. S.D.Muni and Major Gen. (retd.) Afsir Karim, amongst others.
