Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in the first week of October in New Delhi. Coming on the heels of intensified meetings between the two political leaders in the last couple of months, amid speculation that bilateral relationship between the two countries is stagnating — this meeting is a curtain raiser to the upcoming India-Russia summit.
