Soumya Shankar is a journalist and researcher with extensive experience in political reporting and research on Indian electoral politics social movements foreign policy and the political behaviour of the Indian diaspora in the United States. Her narrative features investigative pieces and analyses have appeared in print television and radio platforms in the US Hong Kong and India. She has won multiple international grants and journalism awards most recent of which was the Daniel Pearl Award for Outstanding Reporting on South Asia.
