Jayashree Balasubramanian

Dr. Jayashree Balasubramanian is a Head Communication at Reliance Foundation, Jayashree Balasubramanian is a former TV journalist turned development communication professional with experience in international, national, multilateral and research organisations. A PhD in media science, Jayashree is a recipient of the Chevening Scholarship and One World Broadcast Fellowship from the UK, besides others and has served as visiting faculty of media and journalism. Her communication work has spanned media formats and themes ranging from health and child welfare to agriculture and gender for behavior change, outreach and advocacy. Her former roles include work with organisations such as the M S Swaminathan Research Foundation, ICRISAT, UNICEF, Voluntary Health Services, Sanmar and TV Today network.
