Dakshita Das is a graduate from Lady Shriram College for Women New Delhi Dakshita Das joined the Civil Services in 1986. She has over 35 years of experience in the Government and is the erstwhile MD &: CEO of the National Housing Bank a regulator of the Housing sector. Her experience pans over several verticals of government including Infrastructure financing Public Finance and the Financial Sector.Ms. Das has written extensively and is a published author. She has been awarded with the Distinguished Alumni of the year award by her alma mater. She has represented India in various forums including in the United Nations on Gender Budgeting OECD etc.Currently she is heading a Government Committee on Gender Budgeting and is the Government nominee on the Disciplinary Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
