Amit Ranjan

Amit Ranjan is a Research Fellow at the Institute of South Asian Studies, National University of Singapore. He recently co-edited The Aftermath of the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971: Enduring Impact (Routledge, 2025) and is the author of Federalism and Inter-State River Water Disputes in India (Routledge, 2023). His research has been widely published in journals such as Asian Survey, India Review, EPW, and Journal of the Indian Ocean Region. He also writes opinion pieces for platforms like The Hindu, The Wire, East Asia Forum, and Asia Times, focusing on South Asian politics and international affairs.
