With the massive outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, western economic powers and markets have frozen, industries and world trade are on the brink of collapse. As the world accuses China on their inability to control the spread of this virus, conspiracy theories propagating a ‘new Chinese rule’ over the globe keeps floating amidst the massive destruction that has hit western economies.
आज कोरोनाच्या उद्रेकामुळे युरोप-अमेरिकेचे नेतृत्त्व असलेली पाश्चिमात्य जागतिक व्यवस्था अपयशी ठरल्याचे स्पष्ट दिसत आहे. त्यामुळे जागतिक नेतृत्वासंदर्भात निर्माण झालेली पोकळी चीन भरून काढेल, असा अंदाज जगभरातील विश्लेषक व्यक्त करत आहेत. एका बाजूला जगाला कोरोनाच्या संकटात टाकल्याचा आरोप चीनवर होत आहे, तर दुसरीकडे ‘बेल्ट अँड रोड इनिशिएटिव्ह’च्या माध्यमातून चीन जग जिंकण्याची स्वप्ने पाहत आहे. या साऱ्या घटनांमुळे चीनचे जगाच्या पटावरील स्थान अत्यंत महत्त्वाचे ठरले आहे. आपल्या पटो अथवा न पटो, आवडो किंवा न आवडो ‘चीन काय करणार?’ यावर जगाचे पुढील गणित ठरणार आहे. त्यामुळे ‘चीन खरंच जग जिंकेल?’ हा प्रश्न सगळ्या जगासाठी महत्त्वाचा आहे. या प्रश्नाबद्दलचे विश्लेषण समजून घेण्यासाठी या वेबिनारमध्ये अवश्य सहभागी व्हा.
