URBAN MOBILITY CONCLAVE | Leveraging Open Network and Open Data for Smarter Urban Transport: Planning, Operations, and Management

The Urban Mobility Conclave seeks to advance the dialogue on harnessing open networks and open data to accelerate the digitisation of shared and public transportation systems, thereby fostering adaptable and integrated urban mobility solutions. The conclave will feature pioneering case studies that demonstrate the application of open networks in enabling multimodal transport and will highlight replicable best practices from both Indian cities and international contexts. A key focus will be to identify structural barriers hindering digitisation and multimodal integration, while also exploring emerging opportunities to unlock innovative and sustainable mobility solutions.

The roundtable will focus on three critical aspects, including:

• Leveraging Open Networks for Integrated, Adaptable, and Sustainable Urban Transport
• Harnessing Open Networks for Inclusive Urban Transport, including Peripheral Connectivity and Informal Mobility
• Governance and Policy Frameworks for Open Networks and Open Data in Urban Mobility

High-level representatives from the government, state/city transport undertakings, private operators, academia and civil society organisations will participate in the expert roundtable.
