Greening the Recovery

As countries direct their policy energy and financial resources towards recovering from the devastating impacts of the pandemic, the threat of climate change endures. Recovery packages strive to balance the restoration of pre-pandemic prosperity with “green” stimulus measures to build resilience and drive sustainability. Many economies have also had their financial resources severely depleted by the pandemic’s requirements. How can sustainability and climate policy be embedded into post-pandemic recovery policies? What are India and the UK doing individually to this end, and what can they do in collaboration to green the global recovery? How can they partner with others and with the Commonwealth nations in this effort?
