Daya Thussu is Distinguished Professor and Disney Chair in Global Media at the Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University, Beijing. A PhD in international relations from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, Daya is the founder and managing editor of Global Media and Communication, a journal published by the SAGE. His key publications include Mapping BRICS Media (co-edited), Media and Terrorism: Global Perspectives (co-edited).
