BIMSTEC Summit 2022 | Prospect of Promoting Physical and Cultural Connectivity through Thailand

Thailand has reiterated its commitment to promoting the economic and social development of people positioned in the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC). Being the lead nation in connectivity, the government has been promoting a master plan on connectivity that will be signed in the upcoming 5th BIMSTEC Summit. This is expected to accelerate economic growth and social development, that, in turn, can enhance regional cooperation.
