Sujith Sourab Guntoju
Sujith Sourab Guntoju is a climate policy professional with a background in urban and environmental planning. He obtained his post-graduate degree in Environmental Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi India. Over the years he has worked as a climate adaptation and carbon policy researcher in several organizations within India with significant contributions in revising the state action plans on climate change (SAPCCs) for four Indian states. His research interests are broad and encompass various areas such as climate adaptation policy water-food-energy nexus Nature-based Solutions urban climate resilience carbon markets net-zero policies and international climate policies. Recognizing his expertise and potential Sujith was selected as one of the co-leads for the Cities Working Group at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change's (UNFCCC) youth constituency known as YOUNGO in 2021.
