India and South Korea have always been interested in contributing to the creation of an open, inclusive and rules-based regional order. Since both countries depend on seaborne trade for their economic prosperity, they share a strong commitment to freedom of navigation and unimpeded commerce in the open seas.

This symposium will focus on the converging strategic and economic interests of President Moon Jae-in’s Southern Policy and PM Modi’s Act East Policy.
