To Stay or To Go? The Dilemma of Chinese Enterprises in India

India has become a prime investment destination for Chinese companies. While these investments have come under greater scrutiny following the 2020 Galwan incident, Chinese enterprises remain keen for the Indian market. At the same time, Beijing is concerned that in their rush to capitalise on the Indian market, Chinese companies are inadvertently supporting the ‘Make in India’ self-reliance policy. This seminar will discuss this dilemma facing Chinese companies in India.
