This invite-only roundtable aims to facilitate a meaningful dialogue on strengthening India’s health system. It will provide an interdisciplinary platform where leaders from government, healthcare, industry, and academia gather to discuss how India can reinforce its health infrastructure to withstand future challenges. Based on the Partnership for Health System Sustainability and Resilience (PHSSR) India report’s findings, discussions will delve into specific actions for health system resilience, sustainable financing, and equitable healthcare access. Interventions will address India’s pressing health needs, exploring public and private sector contributions to make healthcare accessible, resilient, and sustainable across all communities
Co-hosted by ORF, PHSSR and the Embassy of Sweden, and supported by PHSSR partners, the roundtable will feature key insights into existing system gaps and practical recommendations for policymakers, aligning with the national vision of an equitable and future-ready health system. This gathering will spotlight new pathways and innovations to enhance capacity, reduce inequities, and ensure continuity of care, particularly under the strain of unforeseen crises.
