India Health 2030: Innovating Systems, Shaping Futures

The India Health 2030 Conclave marks the launch of the Centre for Health Systems Innovations and Investments at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF). This platform seeks to drive innovative strategies and foster meaningful collaborations to strengthen India’s health system, advance national human development and global health security. This two-day event convenes policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and international health experts to discuss practical strategies and innovations for addressing key health challenges and opportunities. India Health 2030 will explore approaches to strengthen health systems for equity and sustainability, advance nutrition and life-course health during demographic transitions, leverage global health diplomacy to build partnerships, harness emerging technologies to accelerate healthcare delivery, and address challenges and opportunities in pharmaceutical systems and global value chains.

Through thematic panels and discussions, the event seeks to identify actionable solutions for strengthening healthcare infrastructure, ensuring equitable access to medicines and services, and aligning health systems with evolving needs. With an emphasis on sustainable reforms, collaborative approaches, and future-ready investments, the conclave provides a platform to shape a robust and inclusive health agenda for India by 2030.

Taking forward the proceedings, an edited volume featuring papers across the five thematic pillars written by participating experts will be produced within three months of the conclave, which will inform the future direction of the Centre.
