In their paper, Khalid Shah and Kriti M. Shah analyse the diplomatic response received by India following the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019. Most nations accepted the Indian government’s decision — albeit with a note of deep concern regarding the human rights situation in the region — and India has managed to control the spiralling of the narrative.
