Diplomat Diaries | Conversation with Anil Sooklal, High Commissioner of South Africa to India

Diplomat Diaries – the monthly feature from the Strategic Studies Programme – aims to host a series of conversations with serving diplomats and practitioners to discuss the key strategic and geopolitical issues of the day.

This January session will feature H.E. Anil Sooklal, High Commissioner of South Africa to India. The discussion will focus on Africa’s position in the contemporary world, India-South Africa bilateral ties, and South Africa’s G20 presidency. The session will be moderated by Prof Harsh V. Pant, Vice President – Studies and Foreign Policy at the Observer Research Foundation, New Delhi.
