A Conversation with Joe Hackett, Secretary General, Department of Foreign Affairs, Ireland

On January 10, the Observer Research Foundation is hosting Mr Joe Hackett, Secretary General (Foreign Secretary), Department of Foreign Affairs, Ireland. The event will focus on the broad contours of Irish foreign policy including the ongoing question of Irish neutrality as well as priority areas in the India-Ireland bilateral relations. The Secretary General will also use the occasion to launch the Hindi version of Ireland’s new Asia-Pacific Strategy which prioritises Irish engagement with India.

The session will be moderated by Prof Harsh V. Pant, Vice President, Studies and Foreign Policy, ORF followed by an open-house for interventions and questions from the audience.
