Nwabisa Matoti is the Director of Strategy and Internationalisation at the South African International Maritime Institute (SAIMI). She has a combined 25 years of experience in the maritime, banking, and economic development sectors, focusing on research and analysis, knowledge management, skills development, and strategy management. Her work has focused on designing and implementing strategies that promote inclusive growth, knowledge creation and exchange in respect of the sustainable use of oceans and maritime decarbonisation.
