India’s Northeast region holds immense potential to enhance the country’s connectivity withthe wider Indo-Pacific. However, the region faces significant challenges, such as inadequate infrastructure, low levels of cross-border trade, and climate vulnerabilities. The U.S Indo-Pacific Strategy: North-Eastern Dialogues (USIPS NED) aims to build awareness about the US Indo-Pacific Strategy in the Northeast and its role in developing trade, connectivity, and climate change mitigation in the region, through potential India-US cooperation.
