Indian States are the Ambassadors of Global India

The conversation at #Raisina2026 highlights a transformative vision for Andhra Pradesh, articulated by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in dialogue with Dr. Samir Saran. The exchange pivots from traditional governance toward a model of "Future-Ready Urbanization" and strategic human capital investment.

Key Pillars of the Vision:

Technological Infrastructure & Specialization: Moving beyond generic industrial development, the administration is focusing on creating specialized urban hubs. This includes dedicated zones for drones, aerospace, med-tech, wearables, and space technology, effectively building a specialized ecosystem designed to attract global talent.

The "Quantum Valley" Ambition: Drawing a parallel to Silicon Valley, the vision for Amaravathi is to position it as a global center for the knowledge economy, specifically targeting the Quantum domain, alongside existing successes in Hyderabad.

Sustainability & Green Energy: Central to this growth is a commitment to the green economy. By positioning Andhra Pradesh as a leader in green hydrogen and green energy exports, the state is aligning local economic interests with global climate goals.

Demographic & Social Policy: Addressing the demographic transition is a priority. With a fertility rate of 1.5, well below the replacement level of 2.1, the state is pivoting toward a supportive family policy. This includes robust maternity and paternity benefits, treating child-rearing as a shared societal and parental responsibility to ensure long-term stability.
