Joyashree Roy is the inaugural Bangabandhu Chair Professor at Asian Institute of Technology Thailand. She is Professor of Economics at Jadavpur University (now on lien). She is the founding advisor of the Global Change Programme and Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund (SYLFF) Project at Jadavpur University. She was the national fellow of the Indian Council of Social Sciences Research. She was Ford Foundation Post Doctoral Fellow at LBNL Berkeley US. She was part of the IPCC-2007 Nobel Peace Prize winning panel. She is Coordinating Lead Author in the fifth and sixth assessment cycles of the IPCC. She led a chapter of Global Energy Assessment. She was part of the winning team of the Prince Sultan Bin Aziz Award for water. She has published more than 130 peer reviewed articles and has authored and edited books. Her research interests are economics of pollution climate change modeling energy demand water quality demand water pricing sustainable development natural resource accounting and valuing environmental services.

Joyeeta Bhattacharjee (1975 2021) was Senior Fellow with ORF. She specialised in Indias neighbourhood policy the eastern arch: Bangladeshs domestic politics and foreign policy: border management: conflict and conflict resolution in Indias Northeast: and gender concerns.

Juan-Pablo Martnez-Molina Mercado is an investment specialist in private sector infrastructure in the East Asia Southeast Asia and the Pacific team at the Asian Development Bank (ADB).He looks for the development impact on society in everything he does. His belief in multilateralism has taken him on a 10-year journey from Europe to America and now to Asia following the setting sun. A career in banking at ADB and before at the Inter-American Development Bank and the European Investment Bank has catalysed his expertise in financing infrastructure projects in developing countries around the globe which allows him to be a valuable contributor in transforming our world.He completed his masters degree in civil engineering at Universitat Politcnica de Catalunya and earned a second master's degree (majoring in finance) from cole Nationale des Ponts et Chausses Paris.

Dr. Julia De Clerck-Sachsse is a Visiting Senior Fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. She was previously a Senior Advisor in the Strategic Planning Staff of the European External Action Service and Speechwriter and Communications Adviser to High Representatives Lady Catherine Ashton and Federica Mogherini. Dr. De Clerck-Sachsse has also held positions at the European Commission the German Federal Foreign Office Sciences Po Paris and the Centre for European Policy Studies. She is an ECFR Council Member and a Member of the International Advisory Committee of the Dahrendorf Programme at Oxford University. From 2020-2021 she was a Europes Futures Fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna.

K. M Gopakumar is a Senior Researcher and Legal Advisor at Third World Network (TWN) and based in New Delhi, India. Dr. K. Madan Gopal is a senior public health expert with over three decades of experience in health sector reforms and health systems strengthening in India. An MBBS and MD in Preventive and Social Medicine, he has led several national and state-level initiatives focused on public health governance, health financing, insurance, community engagement, and digital health. He played a key role in designing and implementing programs such as the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY), Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, and the Aspirational Districts Programme. As a former Senior Consultant (Health) with NITI Aayog and currently Advisor – Public Health Administration at NHSRC, MoHFW, he continues to guide policy reforms, IPHS implementation, medical education expansion, and integrated approaches to health equity, urban health, senior care, and disease surveillance. Dr. Gopal brings deep insights into health systems transformation and intersectoral convergence, making him a valued contributor to India's policy think spaces.

Dr. K. S. Uplabdh Gopal is an Associate Fellow within the Health Initiative at ORF. His focus lies in researching and advocating for policies that address critical healthcare challenges, particularly within India’s healthcare landscape.

Before joining ORF, Dr. Gopal gained valuable experience through various roles encompassing clinical practice, healthcare management, and research in PwC and IQVIA.

Dr. Gopal holds an MBBS degree from JNMC Wardha and has contributed to healthcare literature through works such as "Shaping India’s Path to Inclusive Health Care" in The Hindu and "Awakening to Age: India’s Urgent Call for Senior Care Reform" in The Financial Express among other publications and academic research.

Prof. Dr K. Srinath Reddy is the President of the Public Health Foundation of India.

K.V. Kesavan (1938 2021) was Visiting Distinguished Fellow at ORF. He was one of the leading Indian scholars in the field of Japanese studies. Professor Kesavan obtained his doctoral degree from the Indian School of International Studies New Delhi. He was on the faculty of the Centre for East Asian Studies School of International Studies Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi for well over thirty years. In 2011 His Majesty the Emperor of Japan conferred on him the Order of the Rising Sun in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the advancement of Japanese Studies and the promotion of the understanding of Japan in India.

K. Yhome was Senior Fellow with ORFs Neighbourhood Regional Studies Initiative. His research interests include Indias regional diplomacy regional and sub-regionalism in South and Southeast Asia the Bay of Bengal region and Chinas southwest provinces.

Kabir Taneja is a Deputy Director and Fellow, Middle East, with the Strategic Studies programme. His research focuses on India’s relations with the Middle East (West Asia) specifically looking at the domestic political dynamics terrorism non-state militant actors and the general security paradigm of the region.

Kabir has authored books, chapters, journal articles and op-eds. He is a regular contributor to Indian and international press and speaks frequently at international conferences.

Kadira Pethiyagoda is a geopolitics expert and former political advisor and diplomat. His expertise on foreign policy stems from being a Fellow at the Brookings Institution, Advisor to Australia’s Shadow Foreign Minister/Deputy Labor Leader and other MPs, and an Australian diplomat. His book Indian Foreign Policy and Cultural Values (based on his PhD) was published by Palgrave-MacMillan and endorsed by former Australian Labor Foreign Minister, Gareth Evans. He has a media profile as a geopolitics expert, having been interviewed by BBC, NY Times, Al Jazeera, CNN and various Indian media like WION and Republic TV. Dr Pethiyagoda has influenced debates relating to Asia through publishing in Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, Guardian, Independent, Times of India and Australian Financial Review.
