Hari Seshasayee
Hari Seshasayee is a visiting fellow at ORF, part of the Strategic Studies Programme, and is a co-founder of Consilium Group. He previously served as an advisor to the Foreign Minister of Panama as well as an Asia-Latin America Expert for the United Nations Development Programme. Hari specializes in India’s foreign policy, the political economy of Latin America and global energy security. He has written for numerous think tanks, universities, book publishers and multilateral institutions, such as the Woodrow Wilson Center, Brookings Institution Press, Routledge, Inter-American Development Bank and Americas Quarterly.
Hari has previously worked with ProColombia (part of the Government of Colombia), Woodrow Wilson Center (a Washington-DC based think tank), the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Gateway House and AIESEC. Hari has also been quoted in or written for media outlets, including Foreign Policy, CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera, Times of India, Hindustan Times and Los Angeles Times.
He has been a guest lecturer at universities and government institutions such as India’s Foreign Service Institute, the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA), Georgetown University (USA), Fundação Getulio Vargas - FGV (Brazil), University Erlangen-Nuremberg (Germany).
