A two-day “Workshop on Smart Cities” is being organised on 27-28 November 2018 in Kolkata by ORF in partnership with the Heidelberg Center South Asia, and the Delhi School of Planning and Architecture. The upcoming workshop is significant in the context of the on-going Smart Cities Mission of the Indian government. It aims at generating awareness and producing knowledge on how cities situated in diverse physio-climatic, political regions can be managed and governed smartly. The lessons learned during the workshop will be documented, and disseminated for use of policy makers, other stakeholders and educational institutions.
The timing of this event is from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on both days
