Observer Research Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Child Development is pleased to announce a series of regional workshops on learnings from the POSHAN Abhiyaan, between November 2019 and September 2020.
At these workshops, the motivations and goals of the POSHAN Abhiyaan/National Nutrition Mission will be iterated in public sessions for the media and wider audience. In the technical sessions, learnings and success stories related to the National Nutrition Mission, from various states of the country will be highlighted. The potential to scale up and universalize these examples will be discussed.
Smt. Smriti Irani, Hon’ble Minister of Women and Child Development, Government of India will be inaugurating the first workshop of the series, the ‘Northern Regional Workshop on Best Practices and Innovations from POSHAN Abhiyaan’, being organized on 25-26 November 2019 at The Claridges, Delhi.
This workshop aims to bring together multiple stakeholders like NITI Aayog, State Governments, UN Agencies and international and multilateral agencies to commit to accelerate progress to the common goal of a malnutrition free India.
