The year 2021 is continuing to face a significant change in the geopolitical and geo-economic landscape. While the COVID-19 pandemic has caused severe damage to the global economy — triggering the world back to recession and financial crisis, the strategic rivalry between the US and China has further weakened multilateral organisations. In this context, this roundtable aims to discuss how India and the EU can cooperate to strengthen multilateral cooperation, social protection, economic resilience and security, and also achieve peace and stability.

This event, in partnership with the Portuguese Embassy in India, is part of the Portugal-India series.
