Sebastian Paulo is a Fellow at ORF. He works on global development issues. His research concentrates on how international development cooperation and global governance contribute to achieving development objectives, in particular the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. As part of his research, Sebastian also looks into India’s role in supporting sustainable development globally through development partnerships and as an actor in global governance.
Before joining ORF, Sebastian worked for several think tanks in Europe, including the German Development Institute, the OECD Development Centre and the EU Institute for Security Studies. Sebastian has published research on a broad range of international development issues. He has also provided policy advice and contributed to several reports commissioned by public institutions. As a course instructor, Sebastian has taught seminars on the European Union as a global actor at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po) in Paris. Sebastian holds Master’s degrees in political science with specialisations in international relations from Sciences Po Paris and the College of Europe in Bruges.
