Priyanka Shah is a Junior Fellow at ORF. She is a part of the health program in the development and society initiative. Her research focuses on the politics of health. She is interested in the complex relationships that lie at the heart of the development-security nexus in the Global South.

Priyanka completed her Masters degree in Conflict, Security and Development from the University of Sussex and her final dissertation was on ‘Post 9/11 Counter Terrorism and Human Rights Challenges in the U.K’ where she focused her study on the Muslim population. She received her Bachelors in History from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi and is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
