Priyam Verma

Priyam Verma is a Hindi Editor with the Observer Research Foundation.

She has over 13 years of experience across Hindi and English media. An award-winning journalist, she is known for bilingual editing, translation, and simplifying complex policy and social issues into accessible narratives for Hindi-speaking audiences.

She has previously worked as DNE at Dainik Jagran, Associate Editor at The Quint, and Deputy News Editor at NEWJ, among other editorial roles in leading media organizations including Hindustan Media Ventures, Zee News, and Doordarshan. She holds an M.Phil. in Women’s Studies and a Master’s in Journalism, and is a recipient of the Laadli Media Award (2021) for gender-sensitive journalism.
