Anchal Vohra is Fellow at ORF. She writes on contemporary developments in West Asia and on foreign policy.
Anchal has followed key developments in the last couple of years, including — Saad Hariri’s resignation in Lebanon, the defeat of ISIS in Mosul, Turkey elections’ referendum and the Iran nuclear deal. She is among the few journalists to have filed in⎯depth reports from Aleppo, Homs and Damascus in 2017.
Anchal has also reported extensively from South Asia, focusing on India, Afghanistan and Pakistan. She has spoken at the Civil BRICS Forum (Moscow, 2015) on combatting terrorism. She attended the India⎯China Media Cooperation meet in China (2016) on invitation from the Chinese daily Global Times.
